Applications Now Open: STAND National Advisory Panel 2026–2027
STAND is inviting student leaders from across Irish campuses to join our National Advisory Panel for the 2026–2027 academic year. The panel exists to inform and advise on STAND's global citizenship education programmes, making sure they stay relevant, ambitious, and student-led. If you want to influence how global justice issues are explored on campuses across Ireland, this is your chance.
What is the time commitment?
Panel meetings are held online on Tuesday evenings every six weeks, lasting around 1.5 hours each. The term runs from October to June and we ask for a commitment to the full year. There will also be optional in-person meetups during the year for those who want to connect beyond the screen.
Why join?
- Gain hands-on experience advising a national, mission-driven organisation and influencing its programmes, campaigns, and events
- Help bring global solidarity issues and opportunities to students on your campus
- Be part of a community of student leaders from across Ireland who care about justice, equality, and sustainability
- Join a space where your perspectives are genuinely valued and acted on
Panelists also avail of early access to additional volunteer and leadership opportunities, and free places on STAND's Global Issues Courses.
We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of study, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Preference will be given to applicants who hold leadership or representative positions on campus.
