The STAND team is continually working on free-to-access resources that assist students across Ireland in learning more and taking action on global justice and equality issues.

See what we have to offer below!

The STAND Sustainability Challenge

Want to start living more sustainably, but not sure how? Take a 4 week challenge that will get you on the road to giving your life a sustainable makeover that won’t cost the Earth.

STAND has produced a set of four weekly resources, with each week focusing on a new theme and 7 associated mini challenges.

The weekly resources will also give you tonnes of ideas for taking collective action beyond changing your day-to-day habits. As we realise that changing the world is about far more than just changing yourself!

STAND's Climate Migration Resource

This resource is designed for third-level students and young people across Ireland who are interested in enhancing their understanding and knowledge about climate-enforced migration, and who are looking for inspiration in how they can take action for a more sustainable future.

All content within this resource was collated for use through our exhibition, our virtual events and our online campaigning at the STAND Student Festival 2020. It is our hope that this resource can act as a tool for young people to continue to educate and empower themselves to advocate for human rights and environmental justice.

The Sustainable Development Goals as Gaeilge

We worked alongside USI to develop the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in the Irish language.

Education Inequality in Direct Provision

Education impacts our personal growth, self-esteem and opportunities. It’s also an investment in our future, in our country, in our progress. It’s the building blocks of a sustainable society!

But educational experiences are not equal for everyone in Ireland – particularly for those applying for international protection in Ireland’s Direct Provision system.

Download our #MigrantMindsMatter resources about education inequality in Ireland’s Direct Provision system.
