Lockdown wasn’t easy for any of us. On March 27th Ireland went into full lockdown, but just two weeks before that we began receiving alarming articles and alerts about people getting sick from Covid-19. It was terrifying to think that a virus we assumed was far away was now on our doorstep. Anastasiya Sytnyk tells of her experience and the mental stresses and worries of the lockdown quarantine.
“I became a Zumba instructor. I travelled half of Europe with my kids. My daughters are free to live without a verbally and physically abusive father. All I can say is that I am grateful to Ireland and the people who supported me through that difficult time.”
Most circus animals are treated poorly; beaten, starved, and kidnapped. They sit in tiny cages travelling from place to place for our entertainment.
